A Bridgeport man has been arrested in connection with a brazen jewelry store theft at Trumbull Mall, the Trumbull Police Department announced Thursday. Javon Thorbourne, 30, of Hancock Avenue, is accused of being one of three masked thieves who carried out a "smash and grab" at Kay's Jewelry store in April.

Police arrested a man for his part in a “smash and grab” jewelry heist at Kay’s in the Trumbull mall. The man was identified as Javon Thorbourne, 30, from Bridgeport. Police said Thorbourne was one of the three masked thieves who broke into the glass display cases at Kay’s on April 17.
