Prolific scoring senior guard Ajiem Agwa has been terrific the last three weeks for Austin and it’s coincided with the Packers winning seven straight games in that stretch. A test comes Friday, Jan. 31, when Austin hosts surging Owatonna. On Feb. 7 comes another tough test, Austin hosting Mayo.

ALEXANDRIA — Alexandria senior Hadley Thul has played a big role in the Alexandria girls basketball team’s recent success. Thul, a South Dakota State commit, has made the Class 3A All-State team in the last two seasons and was an honorable mention in 2022.

CROSBY — Crosby-Ironton Rangers senior Regan Jeunemann was named one of 34 candidates for the Miss Minnesota Basketball award which was announced Monday, Jan. 27 by the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association. The finalists will be announced Sunday, March 16. The winner will be announced at the All-Star Series Banquet Friday, April 4.
