Mike Broeker, a 1997 Siena graduate, was promoted Tuesday to athletic director at Marquette University of the Big East Conference. Broeker was in his 18th year as Marquette's deputy athletic director. He assumes his new title of vice president and director of athletics immediately, succeeding Bill Scholl, who is retiring.
