CBS News unveiled a new edition of its venerable "CBS Evening News," one that offered fewer stories but more depth and a few nods to '60 Minutes'

As with many other evening news broadcasts, such as NBC Nightly News and ABC News’ World News Tonight, the CBS Evening News traditionally had one anchor covering the day’s main headlines. However, the show is now helmed by a bigger team, including several roving reporters, and focusing on fewer stories with more depth.

News is entering a new era. As longtime journalist Norah O’Donnell made her exit from the evening broadcast last week, the news program is making major changes to its format. Kicking off Monday, Jan.

Although Michigan began the year as a top-15 team and finished unranked, its three-game win streak to close the season earned Moore a high mark from CBS Sports. The network graded all first-year Power Four head coaches, and Moore was among the best, receiving a B+.

Sherrone Moore already is a national champion and a three-time Big Ten champion. However, he won those games as either the co-offensive coordinator or offensive coordinator. Now Moore is leading the charge in Ann Arbor and will be entering his second year after an 8-5 campaign which ended strongly with wins over eventual national champion Ohio State and College Football Playoff hopeful Alabama.
