Just like Dodge, Ram is pushing into the electrification game with its first all-electric model, the 1500 REV. However, some last minute shuffling means the larger battery pack Ram promised before will be dropped from the new model line,

Ram's electric version of its 1500 pickup truck won't deliver the long-promised 500 miles of range. The information was first reported on Jan. 15 by Mopar Insiders and has since been confirmed to Motor Authority by a Ram spokesperson.

A new report says the 500-mile pickup is a goner, but the standard-range truck and the range-extended Ramcharger are still in play.
