Chicago Blackhawks forward Taylor Hall made a revealing comment about his future with Connor Bedard and the franchise ahead of the NHL trade deadline.

The Chicago Blackhawks squandered two leads and couldn’t hold the Carolina Hurricanes at bay during a 4-3 overtime loss Monday at the United Center. Goalie Petr Mrázek faced 48 shots — the most the Hawks have allowed this season — and made 44 saves.

Taylor Hall is a depth player at this point in his NHL career. He isn’t the number one pick/Hart Trophy winner he once was but he can still contribute offense at a medium level. A contender with high-end scoring at the top of the lineup would love to add a guy like Hall to the middle-six.
