WNBA All-Star Brittney Griner is on the move. Griner has agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Dream in free agency.
Brittney Griner plans to sign with the Atlanta Dream, marking the end of her 11-year career with the Phoenix Mercury.
Griner, who has spent her entire pro-basketball career with the Phoenix Mercury, now comes to Atlanta in “one of the most stunning free agency signings in league history,” ESPN said.
Griner, who has been in free agency for the first time in her career since she was drafted by the Mercury in 2013, said that she will be signing a one-year contract with the Dream.
