It may be one of The Cure's final albums, but people are loving "Songs of a Lost World." Their shows have also highlighted their diverse hits.

English gothic rock band The Cure, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, released a new album titled “Songs Of A Lost World” on Nov. 1. The album marks the band’s first release since 2008, highlighting their long hiatus.

And so a more honest or accurate survey of The Cure’s greatness might focus on singles or deep cuts or their many compilations instead; I won’t argue with anyone who discovered The Cure from Staring At The Sea and still views their first Greatest Hits as a definitive work.
