The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max deliver bigger displays, plenty of camera upgrades and the promise of Apple Intelligence

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max got bigger this year, but most people should pick them for camera upgrades and longer battery life.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max has the largest iPhone display thus far — now grown to 6.9 inches, thanks to its super-thin bezels. It has the rather awkward resolution of 1320 x 2868 pixels to achieve the sharp 460 pixels per inch. And it's still an OLED panel with a 1-120 Hz refresh rate, and 2,000 nit peak brightness.

The new iPhone 16 models are out and if you're upgrading to the Pro Max, the Desert Titanium color is something you shouldn't miss out on.

Apple has announced an increase in its out-of-warranty battery replacement fee for its latest flagship devices, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new fee marks a 20 percent increase compared to the previous iPhone 15 Pro models.

Apple releases two sets of iPhones every year: the standard and the Pro models. The iPhone 16 series is no different, although its baseline models — the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus — appear to be performing better than expected and giving their Pro siblings some tough competition.
