The main line of storms will be arriving early Thursday morning and could move through East Texas just in time for the morning commute. Heavy rain is likely and some storms could become strong to severe. The line will be moving out of the area by Thursday evening and the clouds will clear out in time for sunshine this weekend.
Maryland Weather: Alert Day issued for Wednesday; strong winds expected
Widespread rain is expected across the area on Friday, especially during the morning and afternoon hours. Temperatures will remain mild, with highs near 50 degrees. Rain should taper off by Friday night, allowing sunshine to return for at least the first part of the weekend.

Skies should feature plenty of sunshine through the first half of the day, before clouds increase into the afternoon and evening hours. The southwesterly flow should allow actual temperatures to warm up into the lower and middle 30s at least for the afternoon, perhaps even a bit warmer if the southwesterly winds overachieve.
