Follow live coverage as Sheffield United face Cardiff City in the FA Cup today. This season marks the 144th edition of the world’s oldest cup competition, with Manchester United the reigning champions after they beat local rivals Manchester City in the final at Wembley.

Everton take on Peterborough, Fulham take on Watford and Sheffield United clash with Cardiff City. The all-championship clash pits the high-flying Blades against lowly Cardiff, who are in deep relegation trouble in 23rd place. The game begins at 7pm.

It is fitting that this evening’s FA Cup Third Round tie against Cardiff City at Bramall Lane takes place in the year 2025. As this year marks a century since Sheffield United last won the trophy against Cardiff at (the Old) Wembley Stadium.
