Indian cricketer Sanju Samson etched his name in T20 history for an unfortunate record during the second T20I against South Africa. He became the first Indian player to be dismissed for a duck four times in a calendar year in T20 internationals.

On the back of a brilliant hundred, Samson made it to the elite list of batters who have made multiple tons as he joined the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul.

Former South African captain AB de Villiers wants Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson to be included in India's all formats team. Samson has been in outstanding form, recently scoring back-to-back T20I centuries.

Sanju Samson scored his second successive T20I century, smashing 107 off just 50 balls as India took a 1-0 lead in the series in Durban.

The century against South Africa was Sanju Samson's second consecutive T20I hundred after the Bangladesh ton in the last T20I of the 3-match series back in October.

Before the match against SA, Samson had also hit a ton during the third and last T20I against Bangladesh at home - he his only the fourth player in the history to hit back-to-back T20I centuries.
