International Cricket Council CEO Geoff Allardice has decided to step down just weeks before the Champions Trophy with a board member indicating that his failure to present a "clear picture" of host Pakistan's lack of preparedness is one of the multiple reasons behind the move.

Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and skipper Muhammad Rizwan will be the key players who are most likely to be in the team.

Tickets for next month’s ICC Champions Trophy group-stage matches and the second semi-final in Pakistan are now available for online purchase, starting today [Tuesday].

The ICC said that tickets for the Champions Trophy matches that will be played in Pakistan will go on sale on January 28.
