The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 2:16 a.m. on Thursday valid from 5 p.m. until Friday 9 a.m. The advisory is for Johnson, Randolph, Jackson, Lafayette, Saline and Howard counties.

The NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued an updated winter weather advisory at 3:41 a.m. on Monday. Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch anticipated for Alexander County until 1 p.m. this afternoon.

At around 11 a.m. Tuesday, the National Weather Service in State College issued a Winter Weather Advisory until noon Thursday for Somerset and Cambria counties, with several more inches of snow, gusty winds and slippery road conditions expected on top of Monday's storm.
