Another new showreel of Disney Plus’s upcoming shows has appeared, and alongside new glimpses of Daredevil, Ironheart and Alien: Earth, the first ever footage of Andor season 2 can be seen.

This morning Disney teased its slate of streaming shows coming to Disney+ and Hulu next year, which means, at long last–after closed-door teases and behind-the-scenes snippets –we finally have our first proper look at the return of Andor in the seminal Star Wars show’s second season.

Nov. 10 (UPI) -- The Star Wars spinoff Andor is set to kick off its second season on Disney + April 22. "The 12 episodes of Season 2 carry the story of Cassian Andor and the emerging rebel alliance over the climactic four years that lead to the discovery of The Death Star and the events of Rogue One," Disney said on its website .

Andor isn’t just top-tier Star Wars storytelling, it’s hands-down one of the best TV shows of the decade so far. Fans have been patiently waiting for news of its season 2 release, and Disney has finally confirmed the Rogue One prequel series will return in April 2025.

Disney+ announced an official premiere date for "Andor" Season 2, which will return to the streaming service on April 22, 2025.
