While Netflix has established that season 3 of Squid Game is coming in 2025 in multiple promos for its content in the coming year, they may have accidentally let the exact date slip.

While there’s no specific date set, fans can expect Season 3 to start streaming sometime in 2025, according to Netflix. Hwang told Entertainment Weekly that he originally envisioned Season 2 and Season 3 as “a single story” but chose to split it into two separate seasons after realizing just how many episodes he needed to wrap up the saga.

Squid Game season 3 doesn't have an official release date but Netflix has confirmed it will be out in 2025. Filming has already finished on the third season and show creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed in late 2024 they were working on post-production. This means we might be waiting a while into 2025 before new episodes are released.
