Pakistan batting star Babar Azam has come under heavy criticism for his lack of impact with the bat in the Champions Trophy, in which the hosts and defending champions crashed out in the first round following defeats against New Zealand and India.

Pakistan star batter Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddique, came out in defence of his son after being dropped from the T20I squad for the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, starting on March 16.
