Xbox has some killer games on the way, and soon, too. Will the incoming software wave be enough to bolster Game Pass and inspire confidence for unsure Xbox owners?

While Xbox Game Pass rarely goes a month without getting at least something new that’s worth checking out, it’s certainly had its dry spells in recent years. The back half of January, however, has quietly revealed a surprising number of cool new games hitting the Netflix-like subscription service,

A new leak indicates that three new games are possibly coming to Xbox Game Pass in February, including a major Activision title.

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 lineup of titles. The announcement on Xbox Wire comes ahead of Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct on January 23, where fans will get to see a number of day one Game Pass games, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a mystery fourth reveal.

While the addition of Crash Bandicoot 4 and NFL 25 to Xbox Game Pass has yet to be officially confirmed, the possibility for it to actually happen remains at an all-time high, especially considering that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is already available on the platform.

On January 31, Xbox Game Pass will remove Death's Door and five other titles. Death's Door, a highly-rated indie game, combines Soulslike elements with Zelda-style gameplay. Darkest Dungeon is another well-reviewed game leaving Game Pass in January 2025.

Ahead of the Xbox Developer Direct 2025 showcase, three well-known titles have been leaked to come to Xbox Game Pass in February.
