The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi assembly election. The party has fielded Parvesh Verma against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi assembly constituency.

The BJP on Saturday released its first list of 29 candidates for the polls to the 70-member Delhi Assembly, fielding former MP Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi seat against ex-chief minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

The BJP has named 29 candidates in its first list. The 70-member Delhi Assembly will go into polls in 2025 but the Election Commission of India is yet to announce the dates. As per reports, the polls might be conducted in February this year.
